BRO . EDWIN T . TAYLOR , P . M ., P . P . G . S . OF W . MIDDX . It is with very sincere regret we have to announce the death of another wellknown brother—Bro . Edwin Thomas Taylor , P . M . 1567—who died suddenly at his residence at Bexhill-on-Sea , where he had very recently gone to reside . He was initiated in the Elliot Lodge , No . 1567 , on 17 th March , 1883 , and became a P . M . in 18 91 , and was made Prov . G . S . of Works of Middlesex in 1 S 95 . He was exalted in the Mount Lebanon Chapter , No . 73 , in 18 S 4 , and was M . E . Z . in 1893 of the Chanties

He was a good supporter , having served five Stewardshi ps , and Jlrs . Taylor had also served in that capacity on two occasions , and he had made his children Life Governors of the various Institutions . The funeral took place on Wednesday , the 25 th ult . at Kensal Green Cemetery , and as many brethren as could attend at short notice did so , dropping the acacia—the usual emblem—into the grave . This is the second Past Master of the Elliot Lodge buried within three weeks , and , of course , has caused great sadness to fall on all the members at the loss of two such valuable members .

BRO . HENRY MUGGERIDGE . The funeral of Bro . H . Muggeridge took place at Abney Park Cemetery on Saturday last in the presence of a large number of brethren and friends . A full report will appear in our next issue .

LORD AND LADY AUNUTON arrived at Alington House , South Audley-street on Saturday last from Bournemouth . His lordship ' s general health has improved and the operation on his eye was pei formed on Tuesday . '
