Notice of motion was given for a large amount for the Masonic Hall , and the W . M . urged the Officers of the different Lodges and the Brethren generally to

give their earnest assistance to raise funds to accomplish speedily so desirable an object . Other business having been brought before the Lodge , the Brethren adjourned to refreshment . At about six o ' clock upwards of seventy sat down to partake of a most sumptuous and splendid banquet . The W . It was drunk in solemn silence . Bros . John Molyneux , the Prov . G . Org ., assisted by Bros . Boberts , Haswell , and Jones , sang a solemn dirge composed for the occasion . Bro . The meeting was one of the largest and best conducted that has been held for years ; it quite surpassed anything that has been lately seen , not only in numbers but in the high standing of the Brov .
