' * The Treasurer having received communications from Lord Durham , the Deputy Grand Master ; and also from the Grand Secretary , Brother White ; he thought necessary to place the same before the Committee , and the folloAA'ing notices Avere issued in consequence . of the Subscribers to the Asylum for aged and decayed Freemasons , at the earliest possible time , on matters of especial moment , ancl remain , Dear Sir and Brother , Yours fraternally , GEORGE PRICE , WM . SANSUM , J . C . BELL , CHAS . OSBORNE , GEORGE HENEKEY , W . BROOKS , HENRY ROAVE , Z . WATKINS . July 10 , 1835 .

DEAR SIR AND B ROTHER , —Having received the folloAving requisition , I beg most earnestly to request , the faA'our of your attendance at Radley ' s Hotel , New Bridge-street , Blaekfriars , on Wednesday next , the 15 th instant , at SEVEN o'Clock . A meeting Avas accordingly held on the 15 th July , and on aMotion duly made and seconded , Dr . Crucefix took the Chair : there AA'ere present Ten Masters of Lodges , and many other Brethren . The communications alluded to Avere read , and all the Correspondence relating to the Asylum deliberated upon . It was considered by the Meeting , that as it Avas probable some misinterpretation of the general circumstances had occurred , it Avould be more prudent , for the sake of
the excellent cause in which they Avere engaged , to defer the inaugural Festival for the present ; and that Dr . Crucefix , with Messrs . J . C . Bell and James Palmer , should be a Committee to prepare a Memorial to H . R . H . the M . W . Grand Master *
