M ., Xo . 239 . the following communication has been received by the Grand Secretary : — " I require that you do not allow the notice of motion given by Bro . Whitmore , which I consider to be a scandalous attack upon me , to go forth to the Craft without being accompanied by my declaration that ifc assumes ' tiiat which is utterly untrue .

Farnfield , the Secretary , read the statement of account * and report as follows : — ' ¦ It affords to the committee of management the sircerest gratification in notieiii "

Grand Master for the 20 th of January in the present year , there were sixty-three brethren who i . liered their services as Stewards , amongst whom were several belmigiii" to Lodges in tho provinces , and the result of tho Stewards' exertions was a collection amounting Lo £ 2 , 053 tW . ; and since the last annual general meeting the United ( fraud Lodhasb resolution unanimousl
