Lodge oi ? Fidelity ( No . 3 ) . —This Lodge resumed its labours for the season at tho Freemasons' Tavern , on Wednesday , October 13 th , nearly fifty Brethren assembling on the occasion . Bro . Henry Dearslcy , P . M ., officiated for the W . M . Bro . Dr . Watson , who was prevented attending on account of a serious accident to his "brother in Devonshire , having on that evening to attend a- medical consultation upon the unfortunate circumstance . Bro . May bank was raised to tho degree of M . M ., and . expressed his pleasure at receiving so beautiful a degree in connection with the Order . At his initiation ho was astonished at the beauty of the ritual ,
but was scarcely prepared for the sublime tenets in this advanced stage . Tho Kev Mr . Piorpoinfc was then proposed for initiation at the next meeting . Business ended , the Lodge was closed in proper form , the Brethren sitting down to an excellent banquet , Bro . Williams , F . M . and treasurer ., presiding . The usual toasts followed . Tho presiding Master , in proposing the health , of the P . Ms ., made sonic pertinent allusions to the efficient services of Bro . Dearsley , who was always ready to become tho-locum toiem of any officer absent . Bro . Williams could not refrain from adverting to the excelku . it and impressive way in which their esteemed Bro .
