YARBOBOuaH Chapter ( "No . 812 ) . —A convocation was held on Wednesday , October 20 , at the George Hotel , Commercial Eoad East , which was well attended , Comp . George Biggs , M . E . Z . presiding , supported by Comps . Bettger , H ., and J . Kindred , J . Bros . T . Adams and C . T . Speight were exalted , and the working was as usual most excellent . In addition to Comps . T . E . Davis and J . Purely , P . Zs ., there were present Comps . Dominy , Turner , and Freeman as visitors . At the conclusion of the business the Companions adjourned to an excellent supper , and separated at an early hour .

Domatic Chapter ( No . 206 ) . —A meeting of this Chapter of Instruction was held on Thursday , October 14 th , at Comp . Ireland ' s , Queen Elizabeth , King ' s Row , Walworth . A very excellent meeting took place . Comp . Ladd presided as Z . ; —Younge , J . ; J . Thomas , H . ; Comp . Greenwood , Principal Soj *; Garrod , Scribe . The ceremonies were beautifully worked . Afterwards Comp Ladd described the banner ^ the jewel , and the five solids most ably , for which he received the unanimous praise of the Chapter . Comps . Archer , 25 , D . M ., and Nott were elected members .

A meeting was holden at Dudley , on the 6 th inst ., to install the Prov . Grand Officers for the ensuing year . The very eminent Prov . Grand Commander , Sir Knt . H . C . Vernon , presided . The following officers were invested;—A . H . Roycls , D . Prov . G . C . ; W . Masefield , 1 st Captain ; T . James , 2 nd Captain ; J . Ashton , Equerry ; Davies , Chaplain ; H . Lewis , Captain of Lines ; W . Ho wells , Chancellor ; M . Dennison , Treasurer ; F . Gough , 1 st Standard Bearer ; Jeffs , Equerry .

There wa . s a good turn-out of the members of the three Ayr Lodges : the Royal Arch , the Ayr Kilwinning , and Ayr St . Paul ' s ; while there were large deputations from Troon Navigation , Irvine St Andrew ' s , Kilmarnock St . John ' fcj , and from other Lodges in the county . Lieut .-Col . Sir James Fergusson , of Kilkerren , Bart ., officiated as Depute Grand Master , and opened a Lodge . in the first degree , in tho large hall of the King ' s Arms Hotel , After the places of the various Lodges in the procession
