Kelly , D . Prov QM . ;¦ Clephan , W . M . ; Willeg S . W ^ Spencer ^| I . GL ; and Bros . Bankart , Goodyer ^ Hardy , Einton , Williamson , P . Ms ; and
also Bros . Cotterell / May > Atkins , and Harold > of the Knights of IMta Lodge No . 58 , Hinckley . The Lodge having been opened , the ballot was taken for the Right Hon . Earl Ferrers / of Lodge No . 728 , Dublin ^ as a joining member , and also for Messrs . Charles Manning and J . H . Garner , for initiation . The ballot being unanimous , the two candidatesi were admitted to a p ^^ of the Order ; Bro . the Rev . John Owen Hcton was raised to the third degree .
After the Lodge was resumed m the first degree , the W . M . invested Bro . Picton as Chaplain . Bro . Kelly reported that he andseveral of the Brethren of the John of Gaunt and St . John ' s Lodges , had attended the re-opening of the Hinckley Lodge , on the 29 th July , and also a regular Lodge held subsequently , for the purpose of assisting the Hinckley Brethren through their early labours ; and he was glad to say that there was every probability of this old Lodge occupying a
considerable position in the province . Bro . Cotterell , P . M ., of the Hinckley Lodge , said that they had four raisings , four passings , one initiation , and four propositions for their next meeting . ThejW . M . reported , that the committee appointed to procure a testimonial to present to the John of Gaunt in the East Lodge , had decided upon a copy of the volume of the Sacred Law , which lay upon the table for the inspection of the Brethren . The Lodge being closed , the Brethren-, about twentyfour in number , sat down to supper , and enjoyed a pleasant evening .
