United Pilgrims ( N " o . 745 ) . —At the convocation of this Chapter in October last , theM . E . Z ., Conip . Dean , gave his sanction for a Chapter of Instruction to meet at Comp . Ireland ' s , the Queen Elizabeth , King ' s Row , Walworth , every Thursday . The first meeting took place on the 5 th of November , and from that | 3 eriod the Chapter has been progressing very favourably . The difficulty of obtaining instruction in Royal Arch Masonry is generally acknowledged ; but we
can assure those Companions who are seeking it , that they have only to attend at Comp . Ireland ' s , and they are " certain to find Companions present , well able to impart it . The Companions intend holding their inauguration banquet on Thursday , the 8 th of April . The Chapter will be opened at six o ' clock , and we have only to mention the names of Comps . Ladd , Blackburn , Watson , Thomas , Anslow , Parmer , and JY'R . Warren ( who are expected to attend ) , to ensure a large attendance .

St . Geohge ' s Encampment . —This Encampment held its quarterly meeting on Eriday , the 19 th instant , atKadley ' s Hotel . Present , SirKnts . S . Rawson , E . G . ; A . M . Moore , 1 st Capt . ; Dr . Harcourt , 2 nd Capt . ; E . Spencer , Keg " . ; R . Costa , P . C . Visitors , ( Sir Knts . J . Masson , G . Chanc . ; Dr . Hinxman , Prov . G . Com . for Kent ; and F . Slight , E . G . Encampment of Unity . The interesting ceremony oi installation was efficiently performed by the E . G ., assisted by Sir Knt . Dr . Hinxman ; and the newly installed Sir Knt . Wm . Blenkim expressed himself very
leehngly on the occasion , thanking the Sir Knts . for the honour they had conferred on him . This was the first meeting of the Encampment after the death ot their esteemed and valued Pater , Sir Knt . J . H . Goldsworthy , who had been for nearly half-a-century a member of this Encampment ; the E . G . very feelingly alluded to the loss sustained by the Encampment , the decefised Sir Knt . being nearly always at his post of honour , and ever ready to give his advice and assistance when required . The E . G . ordered the Encampment to be put in mourning for the next three in eetings , as a mark of respect to his memory .
