BoyalAthelstane Lodge ( No . 19 ) . —A very agreeable reunion of the Brethren of this Lodge was held at Bro . Young ' s , Albion Tavern , Yernon-place , Bloomsburysquare , on the evening of Tuesday , March 2 . It having been determined , on the motion of Bro . Young , that the Lodge , which has been for some time held at his house , should be removed to Bro . Lambert ' s , Wheatsheaf Tavern , Oxford-street , where , he believed , from the central situation , it would be better supported than it has been of late , it was resolved by a few of the Brethren , as a parting testimony of their esteem for Bro . Young , to sup together , and at the same time
inaugurate the opening of a new room which has just been attached to the house . Tuesday evening was appointed for the meeting , and punctually to the minute a most excellent supper was smoking on the table . Bro . Binckes presiding , faced by Bro . Barrett , and supported by Bros . Stephen B . Wilson , Figg , Rule , Morbey , Crew , and others—the party being just sufficiently large to enable the Brethren to enjoy themselves , and do away with the constrained formality of public assemblies . After supper , a variety of toasts were drunk , not the least cordially responded to being the health of Bro . Young , who had always shown himself anxious to promote
the interests of the Athelstan Lodge of Instruction , and had so well catered for the entertainment of the Brethren that evening . The toast , the jest ., the song went merrily round , and brought a short but joyous evening to a happy conclusion . We may mention that on the previous Sunday the Lodge held its first meeting at Bro . Lambert's—Bro . T . A . Adams , P . M . No . 206 , presiding as W . M ., supported by Bro . Morbey , P . M . No . 169 , as S . W ., and Bro . Marshall , P . M . No . 206 , as
J . W . The ceremony of passing was well performed , and the five sections of the Lecture in the 2 nd Degree admirably rendered , affording great instruction to the younger Masons , many of whom we were pleased to see present . The W . M . was also supported by Bros . W . Watson , Grand Steward ' s Lodge ; Figg , W . M . No . 195 ; W . J . Newton , P . M . No . 25 ; Boucher , Furrian , Cottebrune , Piatt , & c . It was announced that the Lodge would continue to meet every Sunday evening at seven o ' clock .
