GLOBE Lodge , No . 23 . —This Lodge held its anniversary festival on Thursday June the 17 th , at the Brunswick Tavern , Blackwall , ^ good muster of the Brethren being present . Bro . W . Watson , P . M ., presided for the W . M . Bro . Kobbeck , whose absence Was occasioned by severe indisposition . The presiding Master was supported by Bro . Haigh , S . W . ; Bro . Collins , J . W * ; and Bros . Hewlett , Blackburn , Humphreys , and Brandon , P . Ms . ; as also by Bros . It . M . . .
Smith , W . M ., No . 1 , 044 ; Burton , P . M ., Ho . 9 ; Thomas Adams , P . M ., No . 206 ; Clements , P . M ., No . 25 ; Nappi , Haines , Butler , Pielding , Lawler , & c . The usual Masonic and loyal toasts followed the dinner , the health of Bro . Haigh being associated with the toast of Lord Panmure and the Grand Officers , he ( Bro . Haigh ) representing the Lodge as Grand Steward for the year . A delightful evening was spent , Bros . Fielding and Lawler enhancing the enjoyment by their vocal efforts .
Camden Lodge , No . 1 , 006 . —On Tuesday , June the 15 th , a large number of tho Brethren of this Lodge assembled at Bro . Creech's , the Assembly House , Kentish Town , the occasion being the most important one of the year—the installation . Bro . Soper , W . M ., having taken his seat , proceeded to open the Lodge , which being done , the Secretary was called npon to read the minutes of the last meeting , which were put to the Lodge and received confirmation . Bros . Parker , Lowell , and Creech , iun ., were then introduced , and passed to the
second degree . Bro . Tyrrell , P . M . No . 168 , was then presented as W . M . elect , and duly installed into the chair , by the retiring Master , assisted by Bro . Thomas Adams , P . M ., No . 206 . The officers appointed and invested were—Bros . Jones , S . W . ; Best , J . W . ; Oliver , S . D . ; J . Moore , J . D . ; Haines , LG , ; Soper , Treas , ; and Helps , Sec . Business ended , Lodge was closed in solemn form , and the Brethren adjourned to an excellent banquet . Among the visitors were—Brosr T . A . Adams , P .
