Irving , the immediate P . M . having been compelled to leave , the health of the W . M . was proposed by Bro . How , who congratulated the Lodge on the benefits that might
be anticipated by the accession to the chair of Bro . Farnborough , who had first seen the light of Masonry in the Apollo Lodge , at Oxford , and being well versed in all its rites and ceremonies , and imbued with a spirit of enthusiasm , would , besides those essentials , bring his educational attainments and courteous demeanour to assist in producing such an example , that it was not unfair to anticipates year that would produce much benefit to the Lodge and the Order .
